ONE MILLION RUPEE RELLIEF FOR FAMILY OF DALIT BOY KILLED IN KALIKOT

Kathmandu, 27 Dec.: The cabinet Tuesday announced a one million
Rupe relief to the family of a Dalit boy battered to death by a
perceived family of a high caste in Kalikot this month.
The boy was killed after he entered the kitchen of the man from a
‘higher class’ to light a cigarette.

RS. 25. 000 RELIEF FOR FAMILY OF COLD WAVE VICTIMS

Kathmandu, 27 Dec.: The cabinet Tuesday announced a relief of
Rs. 25, 000 for family of persons killed in the current cold wave.
More than 40 persons are suspected to have died on the worst cold
wave in the terai in two decades.
The wave ended in the terai Sunday after two weeks.
