20 MILLION BRITISH POUND STERLING ASSISTATANCE TO CONCLDE PEACE PROCESS
Kathmandu, 19 Jan.: United Kingdom extended a 20 million British
pound sterling equivalent to Rs.2.5 billion rupees to conclude a delayed peace process.
Visiting Secretary of Secretary of State for International Development Mitchell promised the contribution at a meeting with Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai in Dhulikhel where he’s on a retreat.
The money will be channeled through a Peace Trust administered by the government.
