IMPLEMENT 7-POINT PACT SAYS NC LEADER PAUDEL

Kathmandu, 27 Feb.: Ram Chandra Paudel, who is vice-president
and parliamentary party leader of main opposition NC said Monday the delayed peace and constitution processes can be completed by implementing a seven-point agreement between ruling and opposition parties.
‘It’s suspicious why Maoists are raising new proposals. The two
processes can be completed by implementing the seven-point agreement,” he told reporters in the capital.
Paudel said he was skeptical assurance of Maoist Chairman Prachanda to vacate 28 cantonments and satellite camps in three weeks would be
met.
Maoists had not implemented past commitments, he added.
Maoists have been in cantonments and ccamps for more than four years.

PRESIDENT TOURS SUSKLAPHANTA NATURE RESERVE

Kathmandu, 27 Feb. President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav Monday took time off Monday to observe wildlife at Suklaphanta Wildlife Reserve on the far-West.
The reserve has the biggest herd of swamp deer in Nepal and India.
The president is in the region; he inaugurated the 6th National Games
in neighbouring Dhangadi Sunday.
