367 CASES WITHDRAWN INCLUDING THOSE AGAINST PM
AND MAOIST CHIEF
Kathmandu, 10 March: Government has withdrawn 367 cases pending in
different courts, including those against Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai, Balaram Baniya writes in Kantipur.
Saying the cases are political, government has decided to withdraw cases
relating to murder, abduction, loot since the peace process began.
Concern has increased criminal elements will b encouraged.

PM SUMMONS ARMY CHIEF SATURDAY
Kathmandu, 10 March: Army Chief Gen. Chatraman Singh Gurung Friday
consulted with President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav and briefed him on Saturday’s meeting with Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai.
The premier summoned the army chief for a discussion Saturday, an unidentified army source told Kantipur.
