LIGHTNING KILLS 3, INJURES MORE THAN 13 IN GULMI, BARA AND
FAR-WEST

Kathmandu, 14 March: One person was killed and his son was injured by lightning
at Bhajkateri-2 in Gulmi Tuesday.
Two others were also injure in the village.
Twelve persons were injured, two seriously, at Sirseni 7 during light rain,
Five others were injured at another village, police said.
Anita Ranaa, 28, was killed b lightning at Kalyanipur in the far-West, the
newspaper’s correspondent from Gulariya reported in its Wednesday editions.
Another person was killed by lightning at Biryaour-9 in Bara,.


MINIMUM KATHMANDU TEMPERATURE 5.3 DEGREES CELSIUS

Kathmandu, 14 March: Following a cloudy day Tuesday with light rainfall, the
capital’s minimum rainfall was 5.3 degrees Celsius Wednesday morning amid sunshine.
Mercury is expected to rise to 23 degrees Celsius in the afternoon.
Light rain is expected in other parts of the country, especially the hills.
Heavy snowfall was recorded in the Himalayan and hilly regions Tuesday.
