AFC U-22 GROUP D MATCHES NOW TO BE HELD
FROM 2 TO 10 JUNE IN NEPAL

Kathmandu, 23 March: Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Competitions Committee´s Thursday approved Nepal´s request to hold AFC U-22 Group D qualifiers in Nepal earlier than scheduled.

The Group D qualifiers of Group D will now be held 2 to 10 June.
Uzbekistan, Jordan, Yemen, Bangladesh and host Nepal were earlier scheduled
play the qualifiers 23 June to 1 June.
Dates for the changed schedule has to be approved by the AFC executive
committee.

PREPARATIONS FOR 14TH BUDA SUBBA GOLD CUP TOURNAMENT IN DHARAN SATURDAY COMPLETED

Kathmandu, 23 March: Preparations have been completed for the 14th Budha Subba Gold Cup to be held in Dharan from Saturday, organizers said.
Eight teams, including three-foreign are participating.
CFC Bhutan, Hong Kong Nepalese Team and African United Club are the foreign participants.
Final will be played 31 March 31.
Finalist will collect Rs 300,000 in prize money and runner-up Rs 150,000.

Kathmandu, 23 March: U-16 national cricket tournament will begin in the capital
Friday.
Teams from all eight regions will participate in the tournament.

FIRST SOUTH ASIAN WEIGHTLIFTING MATCHES START IN NEPALGUNJ
Kathmandu, 23 March” The first South Asian Weightlifting Championship started in Nepalgunj Thursday.
Sixty players from Nepal, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan are participating.
The tournament’s Rs.3.5 million cost is being met by Ratan Kumar Tandan,
