SCHEDULED MET OF SPECIAL COMMITTEE FOR MAOIST COULDN’T BE HELD TUESDAY

Kathmandu, 27 March: A scheduled meeting of a special
committee chaired ex-officio by the prime minister for
integration and supervision of former Maoist fighters couldn’t be held held Tuesday because of inadequate preparation.
The committee secretariat couldn’t prepare procedures and modality within Tuesday’s five-day deadline given by the special committee.
Integration of 6,5000 fighters from amongst 9,9000 plus will be affected.
