WORLD’S SHORTEST PERSON WELCOMED TO GRAND WELCOME HOME

Kathmandu,4 March: Chandra Bahadur Dangi, 72, received a grand welcomed
Saturday as he returned home to his village from the capital where he was
declared , the world’s shortest person ever to be recorded, Durga Lal KC reports
in Kantiur from Rimkholi, Dang.
He was greeted with flowers and vermilion as h entered his home.
‘I am very happy at 72 today to be received so warmly at this home. I was lost
so far here until today. Now my name is a household world everywhere,” he said.

SOME CAUGHT FOR IRRELATIRIES DURING SLC EXAMS WILL BE
CHARGED UNDER PUBLIC OFFENCE ACT

Kathmandu, 4 March: Some of those caught for irregularities during the
forthcoming SLC examinations will be charged under a Public Offence Act.
This was disclosed y Education Minister Dinanath Sharma at news conference
Saturday.
The annual examination starts 20March.

CP GAJUREL AVOIDS NEW DELHI

Kathmandu, 4 March: Maoist Secretary CP Gajurel didn’t attend the first meeting of a Nepal-India Paliament Manch in New Delhi, Mahesh Acharya reports in Kantipur from the Indian capital.
His name was in the list of Maoist lawmakers attending the conference.
Gajurel is a prominent leader of a party hard-line faction.
Krishna Bahadur Mahara was in the Maoist team.
