Kathmandu, 4 April : Murdered journalist Yadav Paudel was
cremated along the bank of Kankai Mai in Jhapa Wednesday.
Protests and commemorative meetings were held nation-wide.
The Jhapa-based journalist was stringing for many national media outlets from the eastern district.

cleared of corruption charge by a special court Wednesday
CIAA leveled the charge saying Kharel amassed wealth disproportionate to his income when he was police chief.

BIG THREE SUMMIT UPDATE

Kathmandu, 4 April: Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai Wednesday convened a meeting of the Big Three to sort out differences on technical issues on integration of 6,500 former Maoist fighters n Nepal Army (NA).
The meeting was stalled this week following last-minute differences.
The session was convened ahead of a special committee meet chaired by the PM later Wednesday to push integration, voluntary retirement if combatants, handover of 15 cantonments and satellite camps to government along with containerized insurgency-era Maoist.weapons.
