HOUSE OF BILALENDRA NIDHI VALDALIZED IN DHANUSHA Kathmandu, 20 May: The house of NC leader Bimalendra Nidhi was vandalized by protestors in Dhanusha district Sunday, the party said blaming Madeshi People’s Right Forum for the assault. Nidhi and President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav hail from Ramdaiya in the ditrict. Meanwhile, the ruling NC Sunday said it was deeply concerned with current spate of street violence. Nnnn MUSLIMS WITHDRAW PROTESTS AMID 11-POINT AGREEMENT WITH GOVT. Kathmandu, 20 May: National Muslim Struggle Alliance (NMSA) Sunday withdrew its anti-government protests following talks and a 11-point agreement. Government also agreed to enlist Muslims in the indigenous group in a Constitution to be promulgated by 27 May. Government agreed to appoint Muslims in state bodies on principle of inconclusion and proportional representation. An agreement was reached to form a Muslim commission. Past agreements between government and Muslims will be implemented and Provinces in terai will be named reflecting Muslim identity. Muslim leaders threatened to resume protests if Sunday’s agreement in the capital isn’t implemented by 27 May. Nnnn
