BAD WEATHER DIVERTS HELICOPTER CARRYING MAOIST

Kathmandu, 18 Sept.: Bad weather forced a helicopter carrying UCPN-Maoist Chairman Prachana to divert and land at Manthalo, Ramechap, Tuesday.
The Maoist chief was returning to the capital from Bhojpur.

MASTER JIVRATNA DEAD
Kathmandu, 18 Sept.: Founder member of the Fine Arts Academy Master Jivratna Shakya has passed away.
He was 90.
Master Shakya who was receiving treatment at the Intensive Care Unit of the Manmohan Memorial Hospital, died at 2:00 pm Monday, his family source said.
He was suffering from paralysis, diabetes, kidney problem and high blood pressure.
Jivratna, who established the Academy at Ghantaghar in 1997-98 BS taught at the Nepal Fine Arts Campus until 2027 BS.
He was also the founder of the NAFA Hall, Naxal.
His dead body has been kept at the Academy of Sacred Heart English School for paying last tribute and his funeral will be performed at Teku confluence today itself. He is survived by his wife.
