LANDSLIDE KILLS FIVE IN EAST NEPAL Kathmandu, 2 Oct.: Five persons, including thee children were killed by an overnight landslide at 11 PM at Jyamire Dhupu VDC-8 in Sankhuwasabha. Two injured have been rescued and have been sent to district hospital fir treatment, Twenty-two houses hava been washed away, first reports said. . A settlement along Bhoti River has been swept away along with a bridge over the river. Search continues to find the missing. A landslide killed six persons traveling in a bus in Ilam and eight are still missing. Among the dead are Nepalis of Indian origin from neighbouring Darjeeling. Nnnn
