PARSA SCHOOLS CLOSED DOWN Kathmandu, 8 Jan.: Owing to continuously increasing cold wave and smog, all the public and private schools based in Parsa district will be closed from 8-13, January, said Parsa District Education Officer Pramod Prasad Sah, RSS reports from Parsa.. With sharp dipping in temperature, patients suffering from pneumonia, common cold and respiration have increased day after day. There is a huge flow of patients visiting local hospital and private clinics due to cold-triggered diseases. Daily 30-35 patients visit the hospital and clinic for treatment, said Superintendent of Narayani Sub-zonal Hospital Dr. BK Jha. School children, laborers and elderly people are the most hit hard because of biting cold. nnnn
