ELECTION DATE BEING ANNOUNCED TUESDAY Kathmandu, 15 March: Madhav Prasad Ghimere, who has responsibilities as home minister, said Friday election date will be announced Tuesday. Date will e announced after consulting election officials. The election is understaffed without five commissioners. Election should be held by 21 June hen annual monsoon should have begun. Alternative date is in November. Nnnn GUARDIANS WARN PABSON Kathmandu, 15 March: The Guardians Association Nepal has warned of next phase agitation from Sunday if the Private and Boarding Schools Organisation, Nepal's ( PABSON ) declaration of not implementing the Institutional School Criteria and Operation Directives- 2013 issued by the Ministry of Education was not Withdrawn, RSS reports.. The Guardian's Association had erected black flags by drawing attention along with one-week ultimatum from March 11 against the decision of PABSON . Association Chairman Suprabhat Bhandari said PABSON has called them to talks today and if there is no agreement, there will be strong agitation and it has also been informed to the Ministry of Education. The guardians were angered as the PABSON said it would not abide by it even if they were in the draft task force. The Department of Education has issued circulars to implement the directives across the country. nnnn UPDATE NRT DEFEATS THREE STAR CLUB Kathmandu, 15 March: NRT defeated Three Star Club Friday in the martyrs memorial A division super league championship. Kathmandu, 15 March:: China's legislature elected Li Keqiang as premier on Friday, installing an English-speaking bureaucrat as the man to lead the world's second-largest economy and combat pressing woes like a frothy housing market and an over-reliance on Investment, Reuters reports from Beijing.. The largely rubber-stamp National People's Congress, as expected, chose premier designate Li, 57, to replace Wen Jiabao. Nearly 3,000 delegates gathered in Beijing's cavernous Great Hall of the People to vote on Li's appointment, putting the final stamp of approval on a generational transition of power. Xi Jinping was elected president by the legislature on Thursday. nnnn
