NEPAL TEAM FOR ACC T20 ELITE CUP ANNOUNCED Kathmandu, 12 March: CAN Tuesday announced a 14-member national team for the for the ACC T20 Elite Cup in Kathamandu from 26 March to 3 April. Paras Khadka is captain and Gyanendra Malla his deputy. Other members of the squad are: Sharad Vesawkar, Amrit Bhattarai, Shakti Gauchan, Basanta Regmi, Sanjam Regmi, Pradeep Airee, Anil Mandal, Prithu Baskota, Subash Khakurel, Binod Bhandari, Manjeet Shrestha and Chandra Sawad complete the national team. Nepal is in Group A with Malaysia, Hong Kong, Maldives and Singapore. While UAE, Afghanistan, Oman, Kuwait and Bahrain are in Group B. Two top teams will qualify for the World T20 Qualifiers to be hosted by UAE in November. Afghanistan and host UAE have already secured their places for the qualifiers.
