UML ASKS DEFECTORS TO RETURN ‘ HOME’
Kathmandu, 8 April: UML has asked defectors or
those who have remained inactive to return ‘home’ in an appeal issued by
General Secretary Ishwor Pokhrel Monday.
The appeal comes immediately after two senior leaders joined UCPN Maoist.
Earlier, some Madeshi and janajati leaders quit the party demanding identity based federal structure opposed by the establishment.

33 PARTIES ANNONE THIRD PHASE OF ANTI-GOVT. PROTESTS
Kathmandu, 8 April: Thirty-three parties, including CPN Maoist, Monday
announced third phase of their anti government and anti- election programme following a meeting to plan protest programmes.
Interactions, seminars, public meetings and other programmes have been readied.
Coordination committees at grassroot level are being formed to manage
swelling opposition..
A committee s also being formed to manage a people’s movement.
The opposition has now swelled to 52 parties, the opposition said.

ARMY IN SEMIFINAL OF BUDA SUBBA GOLD CUP UPDATE
Kathmandu, 8 April: Nepal Army Monday entered the semifinals of
Buda Subba Gold Cup in Dharan along with Dharan Eleven and Three
Star.Club.
Army defeated MMC t to qualify for the next round.
Nabin Shrestha scored the ssolitary gal in the 57th minute.
