EMBASIES BEING OPENED IN OMAN, BAHRAIN Kathmandu, 9 May: A meeting of the Council of Ministers decided to form a talks team to receive a loan assistance of Rs. 6.54 billion from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for road expansion, RSS reports.. The meeting held on Thursday at the Office of the Council of Ministers at Singha Durbar decided to hold discussions about the election to the Constituent Assembly (CA) with political parties at Singha Durbar-based Dr. Harka Gurung Hall at 9:00 am on Friday as letters have been already sent to parties, according to Spokesperson of the government, Madhav Poudel. The cabinet also decided to develop Sub-regional hospital with 100 beds by merging the District Hospital and Team Hospital, Dadeldhura, and to appoint Ashwonath Upreti and Lavanath Shrestha in the vacant posts of Public Purchase Review Committee. Similarly, the government decided to make laws for the security of VIPs, to send a draft of directives related to existing weapons to acquire information about the weapons looted or lost in the conflict period to the concerned committee and to make a framework of the National Disaster Control, said Poudel. The government decided to establish an embassy in Oman and Bahrain, to manage vacancies of staff needed in both the embassies, to establish a consular of Nepal in Guangzhou of China, to remove Executive Director of the Central Children´s Welfare Committee, Shisam Sharma, from the post, to distribute landowner certificates of 15 annas of land of Kusunti in Lalitpur to six families and to draft directives to provide scholarship to the children of civil servants. The meeting also decided to send a team under the leadership of Law Secretary to Bangkok of Thailand to participate in a programme on money laundering ´Face to Face´, to send Minister for Agriculture, Tek Bahadur Thapa Gharti, to Paris of France to take part in the programme of the World Organisation for Animal Health and to form a team under the leadership of permanent representative of Government of Nepal based in Geneva to take part in the ´ World Conference on Information Society--2013´ going to be held in Geneva of Switzerland. nnnn
