MAN ON MOST MOST WANTED OF INDIAN POLICE ARRESTED FROM CAPITAL Kathmandu, 29 May: A most wanted man on the Indian police list was arrested in the capital overnight. Bavloo Dey was arrested.. He was on the most wanted list of Indian police for at least 30 murders. Nnnn UPDATE BUS ACCIDENT TOLL INCREASES 1O 12, OTHER DETAILS Kathmandu, 29 Mau: Death toll in the Sindhupalchowk bus accident Wednesday increased to 12 with recovery of mire bodies. The dead are yet to be identified. Casualty figure will increase as efforts continue to recover more bodiesm search and rescue team members said. Bodies are still trapped under the bus. Nearly 70 passengers were traveling in the vehicle heading for the capital. Forty are awaiting evacuation by helicopter to the capital for treatment.. nnnn DIAMOND JUBILEE CELEBRATIONS OF EVEREST CONQUEST ENDS UPDATE Kathmandu, 29 May: On the fourth and last day of officials celebrations to mark the 60th anniversary of the conquest of Mount Everest, summiteers of the world’s tallest peak, were taken on a rath yatra from the office of the Nepal Toursm Board to Basantapur Square Wednesday. They were feated at a public meet at the square. A reception is being held Wednesday evening at Narayanhiti, the former palace of kings palace now converted into a national museum. Kancha Sherpa, the only survivor, except a British journalist who covered the first historic ascent, will attend the function. Italy’s Reinhold Messner the first to climb Everest with Austrian Peter Habler without bottled oxygen, will attend the celebrations. Messner is also the first person to climb all the worlds 14 world’s eight thousand meter high peaks. Government has organized yea-long celebrations to mark the diamond jubilee celebrations of the Everest conquest. nn
