NEPSE INDEX FALLS Kathmandu, 28 May: Share prices fell after early gains Tuesday. Nepse closed at 500.76 pointa after losing 2.89 points amid early gains. Altogether 337,405 shares were traded for Rs.21.111 million in 1334 transactions. Commercial bank shares lost 4.55 points. Nnnn FOREIGN HELP FOR ELECTION Kathmandu, 28 May: Norway Ministry of Foreign Affairs and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Tuesday gave a $3,611,350 grant to the Election Commission through UNDP’s Electoral Support Project phase II. The agreement was signed by Norwegian Ambassador Alf Arne Ramslien and UNDP Country Director, Shoko Noda, at the Election Commission in the presence of Chief Election Commissioner Neel Kantha Uprety. The Norwegian support will be spent on ongoing voter registration, electoral mapping, dispute resolution and strategic planning, part of second phase of UNDP’s Electoral Support Project. Nnnn
