GOLD PRICE INCREASES RS.1.100 PER TOLA
Kathmandu, 11 July: Gold price increased l in the local market Thursday to
 match its increase  in the international market.
Price rose by Rs 1,100 per tola
and traded for Rs 50,400 per
tola today.

Silver price also increased by Rs 20 per tola  and was traded
at Rs 825 per tola.

RADIO NEPAL NEWSREADER COLLAPSES AND DIES

Kathmandu, 11 July: Raddio Nepal newsreader Harishchandra Ranjit died after he
collapsed while walking iin SIngha Durbar Thursday.
He was 49.

RESIDENTS ALONG HIGHWAY BLOCK ROAD TO TIBET

Kathmandu, 11 July: The Araniko Highway Struggle Committee has called Araniko Highway banda on Thursday protesting the decision of pulling down houses on either sides of the highway, RSS reports from Banepa..

There has been total impact of banda along around 114-kilometers long highway from Bhaktapur to Sindhupalchowk.

The BP Highway has also been affected following the Araniko Highway banda.

Banepa Bazaar has remained closed but some educational institutions are in operation, said police.
