UML CAMPAIGN
Kathmandu, 10 Aug.: The
CPN-UML is to launch its Tarai Madhes Campaign-2070 BS from the third week of
August focusing on second CA election to be held on November 19, RSS reports..
CPN-UML Publicity Department Chief Pradeep Kumar Gyawali said the campaign was to be run to focus on Madhes to making UML stronger in Madhes and to lessen the effects of exit of some opportunist Madhes leaders from the party.
The party would focus 20 districts of the Madhes, he said.
He said although some leaders with high responsibility exited from the party, some 37,000 cadres of other parties and independent joined the party in the past six months.
