WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS LEAVE FOR THAILAND

Kathmandu 14 Aug.: A team of 22 women entrepreneurs led by

Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry´s (FNCCI) Vice President Bhawani Rana left for Thailand on Tuesday.

The team will study the ´One Tambon One Product´ (OTOP) program

in Thailand,

The visit lasts until 17 August.

The team will meet Yingluck Shinawatra, prime minister of Thailand;

NEPALI YOUTH TEAM LEAVING FOR CHINA

Kathmandu, 14 Aug.: Nepal Olympic Committee (NOC)  Tuesday

organized a farewell for a N20-member epali squad e participating in th

Youth Asian Games in Nanjing, China from August 16 to 24.

The 20-member i team comprises 11 athletes, six officials and three media persons. Nepali team members  start leaving Kathmandu from Wednesday.

PRODUCER DIRECTOR UDDHAV PAUDEL RETIRES

Kathmandu, 14 Aug.: Producer, director Uddhav Paudel, 58,  Tuesday announced retirement.

In a statement he said he will now be involved in social service.

His responsibilities will be taken over by daughter, an announcement said.
