Kathmandu, 18 Nov: Unknown, masked persons seized 1,500 copies of Himal newsmagazine from a news depot in Thalapali and torched it Sunday.
The magazine management recently citing losses sacked several workers but at the same time recruited people after dismissal.

Kathmandu, 18 Nov: President Dr Ram Baran Yadav Tuesday held discussions with visiting former Indian president Dr APJ Abdul Kalam at Shital Niwas.
They shared experiences, the president’s office said.

Another shooting incident in Saptari

Kathmandu, 18Nov: Another person was shot dead after abduction overnight in Saptari—the same day Peace Minister Janardhan Sharma Prabhakar held unofficial talks with four rebel groups to discuss regional demands.
Another person was abducted in the district Tuesday morning as violence continues in the south.

Susta residents start movement to pressure govt.

Tuesday blocked disrupted movement of vehicles on highways in Nawalparasi saying government was indifferent to their demands to stop Indian encroachment
in the disputed bordering area.
Susta residents said they will continue their protests until government takes steps to stop encroachment.
