More details of Maoist strike

Kathmandu, 6 Dec: Armed Maoists squatters Saturday seized 41 pistols from policemen who evicted them in Kailali Saturday from a government forest, Home Minister Bhim Rawal told reporters Sunday.
Maoists also seized 12 motorcycles during the clash
He asked the main opposition not to politicize the incident.

For the first time, the CA session was adjourned without a quorum.

Chinese military delegation holds security talks

Kathmandu, 6 Dec: A Chinese military delegation headed by Lt Gen Shu Yu Tai held security talks separately with Foreign Minister Sujata Koirala, Home Minister Bhim Rawal and Defence Minister Bidya Bhandari Sunday.
Koirala said after the talks the 1,400 km Nepal-Tibet was more secure now.
China has asked Nepal to deploy Armed Police Force along the border to curb possible anti-China activities by Tibetan refugees; China has agreed to equip Nepali police deployed along the border.
The second ranking general in Tibet was also scheduled to hold discussions with Army Chief Gen Chatraman Singh Gurung Sunday.
