10 INJURED IN RAUTAHAT PASSENGER BUS BOMB BLAST

PM’s ASSURANCE

Kathmandu, 26 March: Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal said in Bhaktapur Friday government will attempt to conclude the delayed peace process and promulgate a constitution before the 28 May deadline.
More than 19,000 former Maoist combatants will be integrated and resettled within 50 days, he assured.
Khanal, who’s also UML chairman, said his party is creating and creating an environment for peace.
He asked parties, including the NC, to join government,
Khanal asked parties not to suspect a controversial his 7-point agreement with Maoist Chairman Prachanda that propelled him to government 3 February.
The premier said integration and resettlement of Maoist fighters will move in tandem.

PRESIDNT, PRACHANDA TALKS

Kathmandu, 26 March: Maoist Chairman Prachanda told President Dr. Ram Baran the remaining isn’t adequate to promulgate a constitution.
He conveyed the conclusion of Thursday’s meeting of a sub-committee he chairs to resolve differences on contentious articles to to incorporated in a constitution.
The president expressed delay in concluding the peace process and promulgating a constitution to institutionalize a republic.
The president has initiated discussions with leaders of society urging them to break an impasse.

10 INJURED IN RAUTAHAT BOMB BLAST

Kathmandu, 26 March: Ten passengers were injured, three seriously, in a bomb blast at Chandranigahapur in Rautahat Friday, three seriously.
The seriously injured are undergoing treatment at Gaur.
Leader of an armed rebel group Nagharajan claimed responsibility for planting the bomb..
Meanwhile, one person was injured overnight in a strong bomb
in Nepalgung.
