The party resumed discussions Saturday after it didn’t meet as scheduled Friday to discuss national and party issues.

BIG THREE PARTIES’ TASK FORCE
Kathmandu, 21 May: Nearly two dozen youth leaders of the Big Three-Maoists, NC and UML, Saturday formed a six-member task force after two-hour meet to find outlet to the current deadlock over concluding the peace process and constitution drafting.
The body consists of two second ranking leaders each from the three parties.
Barsha Man Pun from Maoists, NP Saud from NC and Prakash Jwala of UML are among the members of the task force.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal held discussions with NC Parliamentary Party Leader Ram Chandra Paudel Saturday to get the main opposition party support for a proposal to extend the constituent assembly tenure again after 28May.
NC opposes the proposal for CA tenure extension without firm Maoist proposal to conclude the peace process by Tuesday.
Only three days remain for Maoists to come out with a firm proposal acceptable to NC and other opposition parties.
The party position was made public by nearly one dozen leaders at a huge public meeting in the capital Friday,

NEPAL POLICE CLUB LIFT NATIONAL T20 CRICKET CHAMPIONSHIP
Kathmandu, 21 May: Nepal Police Club Saturday lifted the National T20 Cricket Championship defeating APF Club by four wickets.
Nepal Police Club bowled out the rival team for 85 runs in 19.3 overs.
and scored the required runs for the loss of six wickers with one ball remaining.
The winner collected a Rs 125,000 prize money.
