PARLIAMENT TO PROBE BUDGET LEAKAGE
Kathmandu, 16 July: Main opposition Chief Whip Laxman Ghimere has formed a seven member special parliamentary probe committee to investigate an unprecedented leak of the budget annual budget 2011/12 Friday.
The budget was published in newspapers and put on the official website of the finance ministry before Deputy Prime Minister and Fnance Minister Bharat Mohan Adhikari presented it in parliament.
Chief whips of the two ruling communist parties Post Bahadur Bogati of UCPN (Maoist) and Bhim Acharya of UML.
Jayapuri Bharti, Ramesh Lekhak, Hridhaya Tripathi and Kalpana Rana are other members of the committee.
