MAOIST EMERGENCY PARLIAMENTARY PARTY MEET ADJOURNED UNTIL FRIDAY MORNING

Kathmandu, 19 Nov.: Maoist emergency parliamentary party that met Thursday to discuss a proposed 11th amendment to the interim constitution to form an expert panel was adjourned until Friday morning.
The parliamentary party will meet before parliament meets Friday afternoon to consider a government to discuss and approve a government motion for the amendment of the temporary basic law.
Three parties also decided to form a task force with representatives of major parties to draft terms of reference, scope and jurisdiction of the experts committee for recommending a federal structure, according to UML leader Surendra Pandey.
The meeting of the Big Three Thursday to agree on constitution amendment Friday was inconclusive Friday even as parties were busy in intra, inter-party and trilateral talks.
Passage of the bill to amend the constitution is uncertain.
