THREAENS SELF-IMMOLATION
Kathmandu, 10 Nov.: Sabitri Shrestha, elder of Ujjan Kumar Shrestha, killed by Maoist lawmaker Bal Krishna Dhungel, has threatened self- immolation if President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav amnesties the legislator.
“We met the president when the matter of amnesty
was first raised. He assured he’ll consider when the
matter comes.
‘I’ll self-immolate in front of everybody if justice doesn’t come from the president,” Kantipur quoted Sabtri as saying.
She’ll also go to the international court. for justice, Sabitri said.

NEPAL CONSULAR OFFICE BEING OPENED IN OMAN
Kathmandu, 10 Nov.: A consular office will be
established soon in Oman where there are 40,000
Nepalis working.
Lilamani Paudel, Secretary at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Minster said this.

Kathmandu, 10 Nov.: Actor Rajesh Hamal Wednesday told a crowd assembled at the police office in Hanuman Dhoka never be an actor.
“Don’t ever be a hero, You’ll get into this mess, “ Hamal told the assembled crowd at Hanuman Dhoka Police station.
Hamal spent about one hour at the police station for questioning.
A woman police lodge a complaint claimng to be the popular actor’s wife.
“She was on duty [in Chitwan]. She suddenly
appeared here and demonstrated her gimmick,” the brothr on he woman said.
He revealed her sister was being treated at Nepal Police Hospital for mental complaint and was on medicine.
Hamal walked home after deposing at the police station Wednesday.
Questions have been raised why police summoned
even with revelation the woman was being treated for
mental problems.
