ANOTHER NC LEADER HITS OUT AT MAOISTS
Kathmandu, 26 Jan.: Nepali Congress (NC) leader and former Finance Minister Dr Ramsharan Mahat has accused the government of becoming a 'model' government in terms of promoting corruption and misconduct in the country, RSS reports from Butwal.

Speaking at a press meet organised by the Nepal Press Union, Rupandehi in Butwal on Wednesday, former Minister Mahat accused the UCPN-Maoist, the ruling party, of causing obstructions in the peace and constitution drafting processes.

"The Maoist-led government should be toppled since it has betrayed the nation and the people", he said, claiming that the nation would not get a new constitution until and unless the Maoists become honest to the constitution drafting process.

The incumbent government formed with the vested interests of the Maoists and the Madhesi Front has made some 'unconstitutional' and 'objectionable' decisions and they should be scrapped at any cost, said the NC leader.
