UPDATE SIX KILLED, RS.100M DAMAGE IN VEGETABLE
MARKET FIRE

Kathmandu, 4 March: Six persons were killed, Sunday morning,
including four family members of a security guard at the Kalimati
vegetable market that began at 10.10 PM Saturday night causing Rs 100 million and totally destroying the market complex, management and SP Rajendra Shrestha said.
Two charred bodies are. Beyond recognition.
The wife of the guard, whose and daughter also were killed, is undergoing treatment at hospital.
A sudden burst of power created a fire that suffocated the persons in the room.

UML ACTIVISTS CONVERGE ON OPEN AIR THEATRE

Kathmandu, 4 March: Activists of opposition UML began converging at converging at the Open Air Theatre to attend Sunday’s opening of a three-day national representatives being held after three years
