MATHBIR SINGH THAPA APPOINTED LABOUR MNISTER TO REPLACE GIRI
Kathmandu, 23 March: Mathbir Singh Thapa has replaced Sarita Giri as labour minister.
He’s chairman of Rastriya Janamukti Party
Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai acted swiftly to replace Giri.
Before Thapa’s appointment, Bhattarai held discussions with fringe communist parties.
Rebel leader Mohan Baidhaya also collected the support of 12 dozen parties to lunch anti-party and anti-government street and parliamentary protests Friday.
