BREAKING NEWS MAN BEHIND MURDEROUS BABAR MAHAL BOMBING ARRESTED Kathmandu, 27 June: Raj Kumar Tamang on the most wanted list of police for the murderous Babar Mahal bombing in the capital, was arrested five months later at a remote place in Panchthar in the eastern region Wednesday. He was presented before the media. Tamang had gone missing under various aliases. LANDSLIDES KILL TWO IN TAPLEJUNG, DHADING Kathmandu, 27 June: A landslide killed a man in Taplejung Wednesday and injured his son. One person was killed by a landslide in neighbouring Dharan where 15 houses were damaged, including three schools. Nnnn TMLP WARNS OF STIR IF KOSHI WATER NOT RELELASED FOR IRRIGATION Kathmandu, 27 June:: The Terai Madhes Loktantrik Party (TMLP) Saptari has warned to take to streets saying the Koshi Western Pump Canal did not release water from Koshi, RSS reports from Rajbiraj.. The party warned this at a press meet organized on Tuesday in the party office in Rajbiraj. TMLP Chairman Ramprit Yadav said they will stage sit in at the District Administration Office and lock out the pump canal and agriculture company as they did not give fertilizers seeds and water for irrigation. Yadav warned that the problems of farmers were not heeded and that they will agitate in the district headquarters. He informed that not even 25 percent of seeds have been grown in Saptari and planted rice has dried up. Winter paddy is drying up in 15,000 hectares of land in Saptari as India did not release water. nnnn
