VEHICLES VANDALIZED DURING NEPAL BANDH UPDATE Kathmandu, 6 March: Twenty-one vehicles were vandalized during a Nepal bandh Wednesday called by four left parties including CPN Maoist opposing am election government to be led by Chief Justice Khil Raj Regmi, the home ministry said. Firty-five persons were arrested and nine were released after questioning, the ministry added.. The bandh affected districts from the east to the far-West. The office of the CPN Maoist was vandalized in Rukum by angry protestors. Nnnn NO MEETING OF FOUR MAJOR POLITICAL PLAYERS Kathmandu, 6 March: There was no meeting Wednesday of four leading political players to discuss a package day to install an election government to be headed by Chief Lhil Raj Regmi ruled by NC President Sushil Koirala in Bhadrapur, Jhapa. The opposition leader also said election of for a second constituent assembly won’t be held in June. The planned meeting wasn’t held Wednesday because of leaders from the capital and the bandh. The meeting has been scheduled for Thursday. Nnnn DEUBA SUPPORTER ELECTED CHIEF OF NEPAL DALIT SANGH Kathmandu, 6 March: Min Bahadur Bajracharya, a supporters of Sher Bahadur Deuba, was elected chief of Nepal Dalit Sangh affiliated with opposition NC. He defeated establishment candidate Khadga Basyal.
