HIGH-LEVEL MECHANISH TO HOLD YALKS WITH 33 PARTY REPRESENTATIVES Kathmandu, 20 May: A high-level political mechanism headed by UML Chairman Jhalanath Khanal is scheduled to hold talks with representatives of 33 parties, including CPN Maoist and MJFN of Upendra Mahoto Sunday to ask them to join the constituent assembly election fray. The mechanism consists of three main parties and a Madeshi front that originally supported the Khil Raj Regmi government of which they are now critical for perceived delay in announcing election dates. Khanal held overnight discussions with MHF Chairman Mahato and CPN Maoist leaders CP Gajurel and Dev Gurung who reiterated old demands. nnnn .
