PRAKASH MAN SINGH SUPPORTS 11-POINT 25-POINT AGREEMENTS Kathmandu, 7 June: General Secretary of the Nepali Congress (NC), Prakashman Singh, said the 11-point and 25-point twin agreements, signed by the four major political forces on March 14, should be implemented as per their letter and spirit to hold the Constituent Assembly (CA) elections, RSS reports from Bhaktapur.. Inaugurating the Fourth General Convention of the Council of Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) Employees Union, he said, "The two agreements made among the political parties -- Unified CPN-Maoist, Nepali Congress, CPN-UML, United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF), should be implemented wholly, withouth going astray." He said the political parties agreed on forming the election government led by Chief Justice, Khil Raj Regmi, and that the election process should not be disrupted any more. During the programme, NC leader Badri Pandey, claimed that the UCPN -Maoist and the Madhes-based political parties are "attempting to disrupt the election process" and suggested all to remain vigil over such acts. Member-Secretary of the CTEVT, Dr Ramhari Lamichhane, stressed the need for budget allocation giving priority to the technical education. Vice-chairman of the Union, Bimal Dhakal, and representatives of various organisations said the government should pay special attention for the development of the technical and vocational education. As many as 126 representatives of different 25 organisations and 50 observers are participating in the General Convention. nnnn
