TWO DEAD.MANY SICK WHILE COLLECTING HIMALAYAN VIAGRA Kathmandu, 13 June: Two yarshagumba (cordyceps sinusis) pickers have died recently while many fell sick in the district, RSS reports from Mugu. According to the District Police Office, Mugu, 28-year-old Kalche Budha from Raya VDC of the district suddenly complained of abdomen pain while collecting the yarshagumba. Though he was taken to a local health post of Mugu VDC, he breathed his last there. Similarly, Bir Bahadur Kathayat (28) from Bumramadi Chaur-2 died after falling off the wooden bridge at Daneodar of Mugu VDC, according to Police Inspector, Mitra Bahadur Acharya. Some 15,000 people from the district and the vicinity have thronged the Patan area of Mugu district to collect the precious herb. However, some 5,000 have returned after they fell sick. nnnn
