No resignation without implementing two points

Katmandu, 2 June: Ruling UML standing committee Wednesday announced articles 1 and 3 of Friday’s three-point agreement between three big parties must be implemented simultaneously before Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal resigns.
Chairman Jhalanath Khanal said this at the end of the meet.
He was referring to a six-point package deal for the formation of a national government with Maoists who have demanded Nepal’s resignation by Wednesday to form a new government.
Preparations are being made for a summit of three parties Wednesday.

Discussions for constitution promulgation schedule starts

Kathmandu, 2 June: Constituent assembly (CA) Chairman Subash Nemwang Wednesday started discussions with 25 parties for finalize a schedule to promulgate a constitution to promulgate a constitution in the next nine months.
Discussions started parliament Friday extended a two-year elected tenure byr one year until 28 May 2011 without going to the people.

Who’s greater? Ganeshman or Girija?; Sujata claim she wasn’t present at cabinet meet false

Kathmandu, 2 June: It’s learnt from a senior government source Deputy Prime Minister Sujata Koirala, dissatisfied Girija Prasad Koirala
was ranked second after Commander of the Janaandolan-2046 Ganeshman Singh, has rejected the government honour bestowed on her father, Kantipur reports.
According to the source, Sujata telephoned Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal Monday expressing dissatisfaction her father was placed behind Singh saying Girija had been insulted.
Sujata told the premier she won’t accept the honour.
She claimed her father was greater than Singh.
The source said Sujata’s claim she wasn’t present at the cabinet that conferred the awards was false.
A source at the meeting said Sujata was present at the meeting.
