TWO TERAI REBELS KILLED ACROSS BORDER IN BIHAR

UML STANDING COMMITTEE MEET ALSO INCONCLUSIVE (UPDATE)

Kathmandu, 1 April: A meeting of UML standing committee to select
additional members of its government team was also inconclusive Friday.
Another meeting has been scheduled Sunday.
Maoist standing committee to nominate more members of its government
team was also inconclusive.
Maoist standing committee meets Saturday.

TWO TERAI REBELS KILLED ACROSS BORDER IN RAXAUL

Kathmandu, 1 April: Two top leaders of a terai rebel group were killed in a shootout across the border town of Raxaul in the state of Bihar, India, Thursday.
Another person was also killed in a shootout at a tea stall.
Ranabanir Singh [ Prabhu Patil],Chairman Terai Madesh Mukti Party Rautahat In-charge, was among the killed.
His group was involved in bombing a moving bus in Rautahat injuring 10
passengers.
