DR. BABURAM BHATTARAI DECLARED ELECTED NEW NEPAL PM

Kathmandu, 28 Aug.: Dr.Baburam Bhattarai was elected prime minister by majority vote in parliament Sunday
He collected 340 votes while his only rival Ram Chandra Paudel got 235 votes.
Speaker Subash Nemwang declared Bhattarai elected by majority vote in first round election.
Altogether 585 lawmakers cast their ballot from among 594 members, Nemwang said.
