NO MAOIST, OPPOSITION PARTIES MEET

Kathmandu, 29 Oct.: A planned meeting between Maoists and two opposition parties on concluding the delayed twin processes of
completing a peace process and promulgating the constitution wasn’t
held Saturday.
But Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai, who is second Maoist vice chairman, held discussions with First Vice chairman Mohan Baidya
and Speaker Subash Nemwang.
Maoist Chairman Prachanda was away in Kailali in the far-West and returned to the capital only in the evening Saturday.
