Kathmandu, 23 March: Twenty-eight supporters of senior leader Sher Bahadur Deuba in main opposition NC Friday morning pasted their resignations from a jumbo ad hoc committee of more than 100 members to conduct general convention of Nepal Students’ Union (NSU—a student wing of the eparty.
President Sushil Koirala didn’t meet the delegation at his home .
Students had gone there to protest their appointments to the body.

KAMAL THAPA AGAIN DEMANDS ELECTION FOR FRESH MANDATE
Kathmandu, 23 March: Chairman of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party- Nepal (RPP-Nepal), Kamal Thapa has underlined the need of taking fresh people's mandate for bailing the country out of the present political stalemate, RSS reports from Hetauda.
Addressing the regional public meeting organized by the RPP-Nepal Makawanpur constituency-1 committee at Raigaon on Thursday, he challenged the main political parties to go to the people and seek fresh mandate as they have failed to act according to the earlier mandate.
He accused the leaders of the major political parties of betraying the people by their utter failure to complete the peace process and constitution-writing within the deadline as per the people's mandate expressed through the Constituent Assembly election.
