RESPONSIBILITIES OF SIX SECRETARIES CHANGED Kathmandu, 17 Aug.: Responsibilities of six secretaries were shuffled by the cabinet Friday. Urban Development Secretary Tana Gautam and Irrigation secretary Brinda Hada have been transferred to Prime Minister´s Office (PMO). Education Secretary Kishor Thapa was shifted to Urban Development and Secretary at PMO Madhav Regmi to National Vigilance Center (NVC). NVC Secretary Suresh Man Shrestha has been appointed education secretary and secretary of Financial Comptroller General Pratap Pathak has been transferred to the irrigation ministry. The meeting was regular. The meeting approved the August 30/31 visit of Iran by Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai to attend a meeting of non-aligned countries. nnnn
