SAARC OFFICIALS CONTRIBUTION FOR RELIEF
Kathmandu, 4 July: Officials at the SAARC
Secretariat in Kathmandu
have provided US$ 1,249 to Nepal
government as a token of contribution towards the flood-hit people in far
western Nepal,

RAIN KILLS CATTLE IN JAJARKOT
Kathmandu, 4 July:: Hundreds of cattle have died in
Jajarkot, a hilly district in the mid-western region of Nepal, after a heavy rain coupled
with storm lashed the region
two weeks ago, RSS reports from Rolpa. .
The people from Pahada Mulsam of Rokaya VDC-1 in the district lost 15 mules, 150 sheep and 90 horses.
A local from Rokaya VDC, Janak Rokaya, said they are very worried after the cattle died. The cattle including horses, mules and sheep are used to ferry essential goods in the district.
The cattle died in the pastures after the rains, he said, adding that they are facing hard time to eke out living after they lost the cattle.

treating Nelson Mandela said that he was in a “permanent vegetative state” and
advised his family to turn off his life support machine, according to court
