MAOIST TRADEUNION LIFTS CLOSURE

Kathmandu, 15 March: Maoist trade union Tuesday lifted their week-long closure of 44 industries inside the Hetauda Industrial Estate.
Maoists called off their asking management to meet demands in another 11 days.
The forced closure caused Rs 210 million in losses, Hetauda Industry Association said.
Industries resumed production Tuesday.

MAOIST VOLUNTTER ORGANIZATION BEING LAUNCHED

Kathmandu,15 March: Maoist volunteer organization is to be formally at party headquarters in the capital later Tuesday.
Politburo member Netra Baahaudr Chand said the new organization will “serve society and the nation’.

POLITICAL ASYLUM FOR SUPPORTERS OF FORMER SRI LANKAN CHIEF FORSENKA REJECTED

Kathmandu, 15March: Government has rejected political asylum for a group of Sri Lankan supporters of former Sri Lankan Army Chief Sarath Forsenka who lost elections for president to incumbent Mahinda Rajapaksa, state-owned Radio Nepal said Tuesday afternoon.
The group entered Nepal via India, Radio Nepal said.
