TW0-DAY MAOIST STANDING COMMITTEE MEET N SINDHUPALCHOWK
Kathmandu, 2 April:: Following disruption of a standing committee meeting in the capital, the venue laws changed to a resort in Sindhupalchowk where a two-day meet began Saturday.
Party youth disrupted a meeting Friday demanding top leaders end their differences to prevent a split in the biggest party and mainstream communist party.
Chairman Prachanda presented his views Saturday and he’ll respond to reactions from other standing committee members.
The committee is discussing party differences, selection of remaining members of a government, peace process, constitution drafting, integration of former fighters in the army and other issues.

NC SAYS MAOISTS ATTACKED WORKERS
IN MUGU
Kathmandu. 2 April: Main opposition charged Saturday four activists were injured in a Maoist attack at Sirilkot in Mugu Friday.
Two workers have gone missing, the party said.
The party demanded immediate search for the missing.
The injured have been airlifted to Nepalgunj for treatment.
But Maoists charged NC for attacking and disrupting its meet Thursday at another venue.
