GOVT BID TO PRESENT BILL TO AMEND INTERIM CONSTITUTION FOILED AGAIN
Kathmandu, 24 May: A government bill to amend an interim constitution for the ninth time to extend the tenure of the constituent assembly (CA) for another one year after28 May couldn’t be presented again in parliament Tuesday.
NC and other opposition parties prevented the presentation charging government for making no effort to promote national understanding.
The session was adjourned until Wednesday.
But opposition didn’t obstruct passage of two bills Tuesday.
