THREE PARTY SUMMIT INCONCLUSIVE

Kathmandu, 25 May: A summit of the Big Three-Maoists, NC and UML, will be held Thursday to find an agreement to extend a constituent assembly tenure after 28 May by forming a national government .
A meeting of the top three parties was inconclusive Wednesday.
NC Leader Ram Sharan Mahat said the party’s 10-point demandwas a ‘bottom line’ for the assembly tenure extension.
Maoists took a hard-line approach and said their weapons and fighters were already under the command and control of a special committee headed by the prime minister .

RPP-NEPAL SIT-IN

Kathmandu, 25:May: RPP-Nepal activists marched to Naya Baneshwor and picketed the meeting place of constituent assembly Wednesday demanding dissolution of the assembly and elections for a fresh mandate.
The party said the assembly a had lost its relevance.
Nearly 1,00 workers marched to Naya Baneshwor from various parts of the city.
