FOUR BOMBS DEFUSED IN BHIMDUTTA MUNICIPALITY-3 IN
KANCHANPUR

Kathmandu, 24 March: Four bombs were defused by a bomb disposal unit
of Nepal Army at Bichpuri village in Bhimduttamunicipality-3 in
Kanchanpur Friday.
The bombs were detected by an APF patrol.
One bomb was hidden underground and three were abandoned in a field.

TIGER POPULATION INCREAES IN SUKLA PHANTA

Kathmandu, 24 March: Population of the endangered and protested tiger has increased at the Sukla Phanta Wildlife Reserve (SEWLR) in the far-West, according o the latest census this year.
The count increased from eight to 10.
‘He number of cubs has not increased,” said YUvaraj Regmi,thereserve’s chief protection officer said.
The wild cat in protected a the Chitwan National Park and the Bardhiya NationalPark s well.

TO COMPLETE KATHMANDU-TERAI FAST TRACK HIGHWAY

Kathmandu, 24 March: Former Secretary Birendra Bahadur Deuba heads a
four-member committee to implement the Kathmandu-Terai fast track national priority project of the government.
The cabinet formed the committee Friday amid charges of irregularities in implementation the highway awarded to Nepal Army.
The committee has been asked to complete the assignment in three months.

Kathmandu, 24 March: Gold price was stable this week.
The yellow metal was traded for Rs. 45,870 per tola Friday.
Silver was traded for Rs. 917.50 per tola with a slight all in price.

ANIL MALLA LIFTS THREE GOLDS IN WEIGHTLIFTING SAARC CHAMPIONSHIP
Kathmandu, 24 March: Anil Malla Friday lifted three golds in the first SAARC Sputh Asian Weightlifting Championship in Nepalgunj.
Nepal lift a gold in the69kg weight category.
He lifted 105kg in snatch and 120kg in clean and jerk
for a total weight of 225kg.
