ISSUES ON CONSTITUTION UPDATE
Kathmandu, 23 March: A meeting of the Constitutional Committee (CC) on Friday has decided to extend deadline for settling the contentious issues related to constitution drafting process until March 29, RSS reports.
The meeting of the Dispute Resolution Committee earlier today had decided to make efforts to extend the deadline for forging consensus on the remaining tasks of the peace and constitution drafting processes.
Talking to media persons after the meeting, Committee Chairman Nelambar Acharya said the Sub Committee was granted more time for completing its task since it has been working seriously.
Similarly, UCPN-Maoist leader Dev Prasad Gurung pledged to do more homework regarding the peace and constitution drafting processes.
